Aswin Raj, a dedicated and passionate individual, is currently serving as a Design Faculty at the Academy of Media and Design. Born into a family that migrated from Malappuram to Ernakulam in 2000, Aswin has been deeply rooted in the cultural and artistic heritage of Kerala.
Growing up in Ernakulam for the past 24 years, Aswin has embraced the essence of a close-knit family life. His upbringing reflects the values of hard work, perseverance, and a strong sense of community.
In his professional role at the Academy of Media and Design, Aswin demonstrates a profound commitment to nurturing creative talent and fostering innovation. With his extensive expertise in design, he inspires and guides aspiring artists towards realizing their full potential in the dynamic world of media and design.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Aswin's family plays a central role in his life. His father, employed as a mason, is not only a provider but also a respected Chenda artist. For the past seven years, he has been sharing his knowledge and passion for the traditional art form at the Kerala Kalakshetra in Amballoor. This familial connection to the arts has undoubtedly influenced Aswin's own appreciation for creativity and tradition.
